We are pleased to announce that ARA Diagnostic Imaging has reached an agreement with UnitedHealthcare, effective January 1, 2025.
We want to ensure you – our patients – that you still may access your trusted ARA providers for high-quality radiology services that are crucial to your health and well-being.
As we continue our relationship with United, we are excited to keep serving you and your family.
ARA can obtain authorizations for the insurance providers below but the referring physician’s office must provide ARA with the patient’s clinical information in order for us to obtain them.
PLEASE NOTE: It can take up to 72 hours to obtain authorization after the insurance company has received clinical information.
Payer guidelines require the referring physician’s office to obtain authorizations for these plans. Please consider the risk of allowing outside entities to obtain authorization on your behalf without the approval of the insurance company. Only the companies listed above allow ARA to obtain authorization. All others require you as the provider to obtain authorization.
