Dr. Marouane Bouchareb is a board-certified interventional radiologist known for his patient-centered approach, clinical innovation, and commitment to excellence. As a partner at the Austin Radiological Association since 2009, Dr. Bouchareb has been a driving force in expanding and advancing outpatient-based interventional radiology (IR) services in Central Texas.
With a career spanning more than 20 years, Dr. Bouchareb brings a wealth of experience in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. He specializes in targeted percutaneous therapies for both primary and metastatic liver tumors, prostate artery embolization, treatment of venous disease, and innovative approaches to managing bone tumors. His clinical work is distinguished by a deep commitment to improving patient quality of life through cutting-edge, less invasive treatment options.
Dr. Bouchareb earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, where he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed diagnostic radiology residency at Emory University School of Medicine and a fellowship in interventional radiology at Northwestern University’s McGaw Medical Center.
