Connie I. Hsu, MD, FACR

Dr. Connie Hsu is an interventional radiologist who obtained her undergraduate degree at UT Austin and attended medical school at UT Southwestern. She completed her radiology residency training at UT Southwestern and her fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute. Afterward, she moved to Boston to be on the faculty at Brigham & Women’s Hospital & Harvard Medical School. She then returned to Austin to be closer to family.

Dr. Hsu is the current Chief of Radiology at St. David’s Medical Center. She is the Medical Director of ARA Midtown Clinic which had the first interventional outpatient based lab (OBL) for minimally invasive procedures in the metroplex. She was recognized as a Top Doctor in 2023, 2024, 2025 with Austin Monthly in the category of Vascular & Interventional Radiology. Dr. Hsu has been accepted as a Fellow of the American College of Radiology, an honor awarded to only 15 % of radiologists across the United States. She also serves as a board member of the St. David’s Foundation.

With over 20 years of experience in cutting edge, minimally invasive procedures utilizing image guidance, Dr. Hsu has special expertise in uterine fibroid embolization, endovenous laser therapy, cryoablation of small renal tumors, complex hepatobilliary interventions, and prostate artery embolization.

Dr. Hsu lives in central Austin with her husband and 2 children. She and her family enjoy traveling. As a “foodie,” she enjoys cooking and baking at home as well as exploring new restaurants.
