ARA Diagnostic Imaging is pleased to announce that we will be opening a new, full-service imaging center in Northwest Austin in July 2026. The center will be located at the south corner of the intersection of Riata Vista Parkway and Riata Vista Circle, across from the Apple campus. ARA determined that growth in the Austin market warranted a new center to accommodate an increased need for radiology services.
The ARA Riata imaging center will be lodged in a completely renovated space on the north side of ARA’s corporate building at 12554 Riata Vista Circle. During 2025, ARA planned and began construction to create an outpatient imaging center of approximately 5,600 square feet, with shell space for later expansion if needed. ARA leaders anticipate that the imaging center will be busy as soon as it opens.
The fully accredited imaging center will offer computed tomography (CT), mammogram, bone densitometry, ultrasound, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Convenient, free parking will be available at ARA Riata in a lot at the front of the building.
When ARA Riata is open, ARA will have a total of 18 imaging centers, providing convenient and expert care to communities from Georgetown to San Marcos. ARA also serves 24 area hospitals. We are excited to be expanding and are additionally building a 19th imaging center from the ground up in Leander, opening in late 2026.
