Saurabh Guleria, MD
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Saurabh Guleria has joined ARA as of July 2016. He comes to ARA from Children’s of Alabama and University of Alabama at Birmingham where he was a clinical assistant professor, specializing in pediatric radiology and pediatric neuroradiology. Dr. Guleria completed his Doctor of Medicine in 2002 at Kasturba Medical College in Manipal University, Karnataka, India. He then did an internship at Kasturba Hospital, Manipal, followed by a residency in radiology at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, India. Dr. Guleria completed fellowships at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, in neuroradiology, pediatric radiology and body imaging, finishing in 2012. Dr. Guleria is an experienced teacher, having held faculty positions at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Medical College of Wisconsin. He won many honorable distinctions in his home country of India and went on to success in the U.S. including a number of research studies, publications and exhibits. Dr. Guleria is certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in neuroradiology.

Kelli Y. Ha, MD
ARA is pleased to announce that Dr. Kelli Y. Ha has joined ARA as of August, 2016. She comes to ARA directly from her fellowship in breast imaging at the Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Ha completed her medical
studies first in her class in 2010 at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She then did a residency at the Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
Dr. Ha won a number of awards during her academic career, including ACR “Case of the Month” for Case in Point’s “Coalescent Mastoiditis” in 2012 and membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She has published extensively, mostly on breast-related topics. Her publications include “Workup for a Patient with Breast Cancer: Pearls and Pitfalls Using PET/CT,” a lecture to technologists at Baylor University, and, with others, “Mucinous Carcinoma of the Breast,” published in Baylor University Medical Proceedings.Dr. Ha also published a series of articles focused on nuclear medicine as a diagnostic tool for benign breast disease, primary breast cancer and breast cancer staging. Dr. Ha is certified by the American Board Radiology in diagnostic imaging.

Michael P. Nguyen, MD, PhD
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Michael P. Nguyen has joined ARA as of July 2016. He comes to ARA from Endovascular and Interventional Associates in Houston. Dr. Nguyen received his Doctor of Medicine and a PhD in Cell Physiology from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, TX. His postgraduate experience includes an internship and residency in radiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and a fellowship in interventional radiology at Miami/Baptist Cardiac and Vascular Institute, finishing in 2011. In his previous practices, Dr. Nguyen provided expertise in areas including treatment of complex peripheral arterial disease and pain management. He specialized in procedures such as kyphoplasty/sacroplasty, endovascular treatment for critical limb ischemia/limb salvage, treatment of venous insufficiency (venous ablation), biopsies, vascular/dialysis access and management, and transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt placement. Dr. Nguyen also performs prostate artery embolization, an emerging treatment option for benign prostate hyperplasia. Dr. Nguyen makes every effort to guide patients through treatments and procedures, ensuring each patient feels at ease and has a positive outcome. He works closely with all referring physicians, ensuring availability and close communication with each physician. In 2013, he was selected as one of Houston’s “Top Docs” in interventional radiology and appeared in Houstonia magazine. Dr. Nguyen is certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in interventional radiology.

Stephen Price, MD
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Stephen Price has joined ARA as of July, 2016. He comes to ARA directly from his fellowship in breast/women’s imaging at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Dr. Price completed his medical studies in 2010 at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He then did an internship in internal medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern, Austin Program, followed by a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Dr. Price has worked as a contract radiologist with the Central Texas Medical Center in San Marcos and with the South Texas Radiology Group in San Antonio. He won the William C. Levin Scholarship Award for Academic Excellence in 2008 while earning his medical degree. He has also been published several times and has done work in quality improvement experience, specifically as co-designer of a breast abscess treatment protocol for emergency departments and outpatient providers. Dr. Price is board eligible for the American Board of Radiology Core Examination in diagnostic radiology.
